INDUSTRIES SERVED

Four kinds of property.
Four sets of rules.

Every commercial property runs on its own schedule, access rules, and standards. Service is planned around yours, not the other way around.

01 / MULTI-FAMILY

Apartment & multi-family communities

Shared walls, occupied units, resident schedules, and a leasing office that needs answers. Multi-family is one of the most demanding accounts in pest control, and it is where State Shield focuses first.

CheckpointSelected areaGap or penetration

  1. The pad, enclosure walls, gates, and drainage around the bins. We look for rodent burrows and runways, roach and fly activity, and note sanitation or damage your team can correct.

  2. Corners, floor drains, door sweeps, and wall gaps. We check for roach and rodent activity, spillage, and moisture, and note door and seal repairs for maintenance.

  3. Soffit vents, gaps at the eaves, and branches touching the roof. We look for rodent entry points and signs of nesting, and flag trim-backs and repairs.

  4. Gaps where supply and drain lines pass through walls and floors, plus the voids behind the range and refrigerator. We inspect under-sink cabinets and flag openings for maintenance to seal.

  5. Light fixtures, ceilings, stairwells, and corners along the path residents walk every day. We check for webbing and insect activity from the parking lot to the front door.

  6. Behind and beneath machines, around drains, dryer vents, and baseboards. We check the warm, damp spots that are easy to miss and note leaks for maintenance.

  7. Where mulch, shrubs, and irrigation meet the slab. We inspect the foundation edge for ant trails and termite signs, and note plants touching the building for your landscape crew.

  8. The spaces residents and prospects see first. Clubhouse kitchens and restrooms, equipment rooms, and the pool deck perimeter can be serviced on the same schedule as your buildings.

WHY COMMERCIAL IS DIFFERENT

Commercial accounts
run on a system.

The treatment is only part of the job. The rest is process, records, communication, and showing up the same way every time. That is the part commercial clients notice, and the part State Shield is built around.

“Everyone can do residential, but very few companies can handle the complexity of commercial accounts.”
Andrew SheffieldFounder, State Shield Pest Protection

Andrew founded State Shield on a background in commercial pest management. That background sets the standard for every State Shield account, commercial or residential.

5.0★GOOGLE

5.0★ on Google. Every account is held to the standard behind that rating.

01 / PROCESS

A plan before the first treatment

Every account starts with a walkthrough and a defined scope: what gets serviced, where, how often, and what gets monitored between visits.

02 / DOCUMENTATION

A record of every visit

What was inspected, what was treated, and what needs attention, written down after each visit. Ready when an owner, a regional manager, or an inspector asks.

03 / COMMUNICATION

One point of contact

A direct line to someone who knows your property. Findings go to the people who need them, including conditions your staff can correct.

04 / CONSISTENCY

The same standard every visit

Service on the agreed schedule, inside the agreed window. The tenth visit is held to the same standard as the first.
